If you aren’t sure if personal training is for you why not give us a ring
for an informal chat. We can discuss your individual needs and where appropriate
give general advice on ways you can start exercising more.
If you decide to give personal training a try we will ask you to complete a
brief pre-exercise questionaire on your first visit. This will give a good general
picture of your current health status and exercise history. Once completed your
blood pressure will be measured as well as body fat percentage. Body fat percentage
is more important than your overall body weight and indicates the amount of
body fat you are carrying as opposed to your lean body mass which consists of
muscle, bones, blood, organs etc. It’s particularly useful for measuring
true weight loss i.e. fat loss and stops you worrying about minor fluctuations
in total body weight that we all experience.
Both BP and body fat measurements are non-intrusive and conducted in a professional
yet informal way. You can also be assured that anything discussed is completely
confidential. So you can relax and ask as many questions as you like.

session
